In 1976, eighteen months after the highly successful Cilla's Comedy Six, ATV engaged Cilla Black for another season of individual sitcoms. Showcasing her versatility and sense of humour Cilla's World of Comedy sees Cilla stepping into a range of both new and established characters, including a footballer's wife, a woman hoping to escape her past in a new home, a biology teacher who's forced to take stock of her own life.
