Brish Strokes was first show back in 1986 and stars painter and decorators Jacko and Eric. They are ladies' men and married man. Karl Howman's cheeky South Londoner gets into all sorts of compromising situations, much to the dismay of his sister Jean. Things get a little more complicated when the boss's secretary Sandra takes a shine to him and they eventually get engaged. But will he see it through? He’s always good-natured, but can also be a bit cheeky, Jacko lives with his married sister Jean and he’s friend is the eccentric publican and wine bar owner Elmo Putney, he works for Bainbridge Decorators with his work-mate Eric, under the watchful eye of his boss Lionel. Working and flirting with Lionel’s secretary Sandra, his daughter Lesley, his wife Veronica, and just about anyone else he comes into contact with.
